Our organisation
At Skåne University Hospital, the full spectrum is available: highly specialised care, research, and education. We operate in both Malmö and Lund, and are a part of Region Skåne.
Our operations are divided into administrative and staff functions.
The elected officials of Region Skåne make the overarching decisions, such as adopting a budget. The Skåne University Hospital Executive Committee and Hospital Director Björn Ekmehag is responsible for developing and improving the hospital, together with all employees.
We have approximately 12,000 employees representing over 100 different professions.
