Pulmonary medicine and allergic diseases
We provide highly specialised care for all lung and allergy diseases. Our facilities in Lund and Malmö make us one of Sweden’s largest hospitals in this field.
Both sites offer inpatient and outpatient services for the most common lung diseases. Lund also has an allergy clinic, a transplant team, a cystic fibrosis team and a thoracic oncology day care service.
We are one of two hospitals with a national healthcare mandate for lung transplantation. This means that we take care of patients from the Stockholm area and eastern and southern Sweden. We are responsible for assessing patients for transplantation, as well as providing aftercare and follow-up after transplantation.
Research
We conduct research with partners on a local, national and international level.
