‘The children always ask: Why did I get this?’

Rheumatologist Robin Kahn’s focus in research is children with juvenile idiopathic arthritis. Together with his research team, he is trying to find the answers to two questions: why certain children get this condition – and how can it be cured. “These two questions actually  triggered me, and an entire team, to start doing research.”

Robin Kahn is a senior consultant in paediatric rheumatology at Skåne University Hospital and a researcher at Wallenberg Centre for Molecular Medicine (WCMM). In 2022, every week a researcher working at WCMM at Lund University and Skåne University Hospital is presented. In the video, Robin Kahn shares more about his research.
