Plastic surgery
The core facility for plastic surgery at Skåne University Hospital is based in Malmö and consists of a plastic surgery clinic and a plastic surgery department. We also work very closely with Paediatric and Adolescent Medicine department 1, which treats children up to 18 years of age.
Our doctors, nurses and assistant nurses and our rehabilitation team receive around 9,000 patient visits every year. The rehab team is made up of a welfare officer, a physiotherapist and an occupational therapist. Secretaries work here too, in addition to medical staff.

Research
We conduct multi-award-winning research in our specialty that is prominent on a national level, and in some cases internationally. Our research is linked to the Faculty of Medicine at Lund University.
