Endocrinology
We diagnose and treat a wide range of endocrine diseases in adults. The most common conditions we manage include type 1 diabetes, complicated type 2 diabetes, and endocrine disorders, with a focus on thyroid and pituitary diseases.
Our services include general clinics in both Malmö and Lund, as well as specialised day care and foot clinics. Inpatient endocrine care is provided at Endocrine Department 21 in Malmö and Medical Department 8 in Lund. Our obesity clinic is also located in Malmö.
Endocrinology forms part of the endocrinology, renal medicine, and rheumatology unit, which employs approximately 150 staff members.
Research
We conduct extensive clinical and preclinical research in collaboration with local, national, and international partners.
