Endocrinology
We investigate and treat various endocrine diseases in adults. The most common diagnoses are type 1 diabetes, complicated type 2 diabetes and endocrine disorders where thyroid and pituitary disease are predominating.
We have general clinics in both Malmö and Lund, as well as specialised day care and foot clinics. Inpatient endocrine care is provided at Endocrine Department 21 in Malmö and Medical Department 8 in Lund. Our obesity clinic is also situated in Malmö.
Endocrinology is part of the endocrinology, renal medicine and rheumatology unit. A total of around 150 people work in our organisation.
Research
We conduct extensive clinical and preclinical research together with partners on a local, national and international level.
